768 MILLION VACATION DAYS WENT UNUSED LAST YEAR

Workers in the United States didn’t use a staggering 768 million vacation days last year, which was up 9 percent from just a year before.

Of those 768 million days that went unused, 236 million were lost forever – which comes out to $65.5 billion in lost benefits.

Business insiders say the biggest reason for this increase in unused vacation days is that the number of earned days off is increasing faster than workers are using them. (WXIN-TV)
