LORI LOUGHLIN: New Charges

US-ENTERTAINMENT-FILM-TELEVISION-UNIVERSITY-CORRUPTION

TeeRoy's 2 Cents:

  • From Full House to the Big House!
  • Lori and her husband paid a lot more money than Felicity to get their two daughters into college.
  • She's probably hoping she won't get any jail time, but that seems unlikely.
  • I wonder if they'd have Lori and Mossimo serve their sentences at different times.

Lori Loughlin could be in prison for a long, long time.

The actress and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were indicted today (Tuesday) on conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud -- as well as a new charge of money laundering.

According to TMZ, the new charge "drastically" increases the amount of time the couple "would get as a minimum recommended sentence." On its own, the money laundering charge carries a maximum 20-year sentence. Even with a plea bargain, they're looking at a minimum of four to six years behind bars.

This comes a day after actress Felicity Huffman copped a plea in the case, along with 12 other parents. The former Desperate Housewives star could get as little as four months in the big house.

TMZ says all the parents in the cheating scandal have been offered plea deals, but they all came with prison time attached.
