I had the pleasure of going to NY to be part of the Shaft press junket. It was so much fun! Aside from the fact that we got to premiere the movie and meet so many new radio talents from across the country, we also got to meet the cast! There were 3 different roundtable talks. The 1st was with all 3 generations of Shaft ... Richard Roundtree, Samuel L Jackson, and Jessie T Usher. Samuel L Jackson is one of my favorite actors ever so you know I was trying to keep my cool and not fan girl out lol. The 2nd rountable talk was with the Shaft ladies, Regina Hall and Alexandra Shipp. The 3rd roundtable talk was with the director, Tim Story, who was the coolest,most laid back guy ever.
Shaft is in theaters now! If you haven't seen it yet, you NEED to! It is so funny. Seriously, I laughed the entire movie.
