Rapper Trouble's murder may have been the result of a domestic situation gone wrong, according to police.
On Sunday night, June 5, the Rockdale County Police Department held a press conference to provide more details about Trouble's death. Spokeswoman Jedidia Canty explained that the rapper, born Mariel Semonte Orr, was inside a woman's home at the Lake St. James Apartments in Conyers when he was shot in the chest. The "Come Thru" rapper was found inside the apartment at 3:20 a.m. on Sunday morning. He was declared dead on the scene. Police have identified the suspect in the murder, Jamichael Jones, and currently have several warrants for his arrest.
According to police, Jones and Orr knew the same woman, however, the rapper did not know Jones. Authorities say the murder stemmed from a domestic situation but no further details regarding what happened prior to Orr's demise. Jones has not yet been located and, as of this report, police have no leads on his whereabouts. Rockdale police wants the public to contact them at 770-278-8188 or their main line 770-278-8000 with any information about Jones' location.
