Luke Combs Reveals How He Copes With The Pressures Of Fame

If you turn on country radio at any given moment, you'll more than likely hear a song by Luke Combs playing. The country singer has had six consecutive No. 1 songs (five of which came off his debut album) and he was basically catapulted into country superstardom in 2017 with the release of This One's For You.

In a new interview with People, the โ€œBeer Never Broke My Heartโ€ singer opened up about struggling with his rise to fame. โ€œI definitely struggled with it at times,โ€ he revealed. โ€œI dealt with it probably a lot last year as things were really taking off and really getting kicked into high gear.โ€

Thankfully, Combs has been able to cope with the pressures that come with being famous and has adjusted to his new life in the spotlight. โ€œIโ€™ve definitely pushed past all that stuff now,โ€ he revealed. โ€œThe best medication was just to work through things. And Iโ€™m definitely way more at peace now with it than I was a year ago.โ€

You might think that trying to achieve the same amazing feats on his sophomore album would bring incredible pressure to the singer, but Combs said he doesn't feel it. โ€œI donโ€™t think I feel it much just because Iโ€™m having so much fun doing it,โ€ he said. โ€œItโ€™s not like thereโ€™s people standing outside my house going, โ€˜Hey, this next record better be great!โ€™โ€

But there is one small thing that he may feel pressure about: his upcoming wedding to Nicole Hocking; which will take place sometime next year.
